Hi, my name’s Jake.

I’m a Mastering Engineer living in Chicago, IL.

I got my start mastering in Minneapolis, MN, where I worked with Alec Ness as Assistant Engineer on hundreds of projects from a diverse group of local, national, and international artists, from DIY to major labels, and everything in between.

Outside of mastering, I’ve played multiple instruments in bands both in and out of school, written, produced, and recorded my own music, as well as multiple albums for other artists, sang in choirs, mixed live sound, and organized DIY shows.

I don’t believe in following a formula when it comes to mastering. No two songs are the same, therefore, no two songs should be engineered the same way. I know how much work and how much of you goes into each and every song, and I’m honored to be trusted to help bring your art to the world.
